Synflex America, I just wanted to share my story with you. I am an avid golfer and bowler. I started to have chronic knee pain, so much so that I had to stop bowling for a period of time. I resigned myself to the fact that I would probably need surgery to correct this and made an appointment to see an orthopedic surgeon. The surgeon said that he would not need to perform surgery however did say that he saw lots of arthritis and inflammation in the knee from previous cartilage surgery and recommended that I take Glucosimine. My sixteen year old cat, PJ, has very bad arthritis. About 3 weeks ago I took her to the vet and x-rays confirmed that she has arthritis in both hips and both knees. The vet put her on a narcotic for the pain (butorph) and cosequin. I tried to give her the cosequin, but she hated it and preferred not to eat rather than eat food with cosequin in it. I gave her the butorph for two days (I wish I hadn’t) and she was totally drugged and hiding all the time. Her eyes were dilated and she was totally scared.
