We love helping others, especially if it means giving them the opportunity to do what they love! Tim Burke loves skiing and winter sports. When he was told he had arthritis, we were more than happy to help him get better. Now he takes the best liquid glucosamine for athletes product on the market and is back to competing. We are thrilled for him! Here is his latest update as he prepares for the World Championships in Italy.
The past few weeks of racing were pretty tough for me. I got sick almost immediately after traveling back to Europe after Christmas and I struggled over the next few weeks to get back to 100%. Some races I would feel normal and I would think that I was finally healthy. In addition, are the days that were almost always followed by a race where I felt completely empty. Considering this roller coaster ride, I was pretty happy with some of my results but it definitely left me a little frustrated.
Lucky for me, we now have a few week break before the start of World Championships. I am finally getting the chance to recover back to 100% and most importantly I have been able to start picking up the training hours, which is something that I have been able to do for a long time. I am staying in Antholz, Italy for the entire pre World Champs camp. This is definitely one of my favorite places to stay during the winter. Antholz has a great combination of delicious Italian food, prefect ski tracks right out the front door and lots of sun. After a few weeks here, I am confident that I will be very well prepared for World Championships.
While it has been frustrating to not be at my best over the past few weeks, I am happy that I was still able to be competitive. I am really curious what I can do when I am at my best!
