Lay down on flat on your back. Bend one leg and bring to your chest. Stretch your leg to the left. Stretch your leg to the right. Switch legs and repeat.

Start Swimming
It’s getting warmer and what a perfect way to have fun and exercise than go for a swim? The Arthritis Foundation reports decreased arthritis hip pain from swimming.  So take the kids to the pool and have some fun!

Work Those Thighs
Your thighs are attached to your hips. Strengthening them promotes arthritis hip pain relief.

Inner Thighs: Lie flat on your back. Squeeze an exercise ball ten times between your thighs 10 times.

Outer Thighs: Leg lifts are great for outer thighs. Lie on your side and lift your leg six inches from the floor and hold for three seconds. Repeat 10 times. Switch sides and repeat. Don’t do these if they’re too painful. Don’t worry if you can’t lift your leg six inches. Lift as much as you can.
